Regular Season
The Tri-County Cyclones (formerly the Kent Cyclones) are charter members of the Cleveland Suburban Hockey League (CSHL), and the North Coast High School Hockey League (NCHSHL). Our youth teams participate in the preseason and regular season activities through CSHL. Our goal is that each team play in two tournaments in addition to our preseason/regular season games.
Our teams over the last three years have averaged over 60 practices per year.

WHERE
The Tri-County Cyclones practice primarily at Kent State Ice arena, and each team has about one practice a week at Garfield Heights Rec Center.

When
Tryouts: Week of April 8 to 13, 2024. (details below). All sessions for each age group and skill level are required. Tryouts after April are by appointment only. (8U will have additional tryouts in August)
Regular season practices begin in August after Kent Parks and Recreation skills camp at KSU, and end in February before league finals.
High School plays in the North Coast High School Hockey League.
8U to 14U plays in the Cleveland Suburban Hockey League
- Preseason Games: September 19 through October 27 in the CSHL
- Regular Season Games: November 7 through February 13, 2025.
- Playoffs February 22-23, and Finals Mar 1, 2025.
